DETAILED NOTIFICATION
TS Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET- 2021) for admission into 3 / 5 years law courses (LL.B.) and TS PG Law Common Entrance Test (TSPGLCET-2021) for admission into LL.M courses offered by State Universities in Telangana State including their affiliated colleges for the academic year 2021-22 will be conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana State.

ELIGIBILITY FOR TS LAWCET-2021
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
3 year LL.B Course:
The Candidates for 3-year LL. B Course should have passed any Graduate Degree (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University with 45% of aggregate marks for general category, and 40% for SC/ST or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Universities concerned.
If any candidate secured less than 45% and 40% respectively in graduation as stated above, he/she should have secured same percentage or more on the aggregate in any additional Graduation or Post Graduation or B.Ed.
The candidates who have passed Degree examination by single sitting without undergoing three years course either through regular or private or correspondence and those who obtained the degree through open University directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible as per G.O. Ms No. 31 dated:18-03-2009.
Note:
i) The percentage of 44.5% and above in aggregate in graduation (10+2+3
Pattern) in case of candidates belongs to general categories and 39.5% and above in aggregate in graduation(10+2+3 Pattern) in case of candidates belongs to SC/ST category will be considered as 45% and 40% of aggregate marks respectively for admission into LL.B 3 year course.
5 Year LL.B. Course:
The Candidates for 5 year LL.B. course should have passed two year Intermediate Course (10+2 pattern) with 45% of aggregate marks for general category and 40% for SC/ST or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University
concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, T.S.
Note:
i) The percentage of 44.5% and above in aggregate in Intermediate (10+2
Pattern) in case of candidates belongs to general categories and 39.5% and above in aggregate in Intermediate (10+2 Pattern) in case of candidates belongs to SC/ST category will be considered as 45% and 40% respectively for admission into LL. B. 5-year courses.
QUALIFYING MARKS FOR TS LAWCET-2021
• The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 35% (i.e. 42 marks out of total
120 marks). There will be no minimum qualifying mark for S.C & S.T candidates for ranking.
• For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying percentage of marks is prescribed.
Merely qualifying in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into LL. B. 3/5 Year course unless the candidate:
i. appears for Counselling at the notified Centres.
ii. applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned;
and
iii. satisfies all the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the authority, at the time of issue of Admission Notification/Counselling.
AGE LIMIT
There shall be no Age restriction for the candidates seeking admission into LL. B. Courses, as per the Bar Council of India Lr. No. BCI/D/2337/2018(LE/Cir.4) dated 26.11.2018. The detailed information is available in the official website i.e., http://www.barcouncilofindia.org/
RANKING
The candidates will be ranked in the order of merit based on the marks obtained in the
TS LAWCET-2021. In case of tie, the relative rank will be decided as mentioned below:
(i) By considering the marks secured in Part-C of TS LAWCET and if the tie still persists marks obtained in Part-B in TS LAWCET shall be taken into consideration.
(ii) If the tie still persists they may be bracketed together for the purpose of ranking
and seniority in age may be considered at the time of admission.
(iii) Rank obtained in TS LAWCET-2021 is valid for admission into 3 year/ 5 year
Law Course, as the case may be, for the academic year 2021-2022 only.
ELIGIBILITY FOR TS PGLCET-2021(LL.M.)
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates holding LL.B./B.L. 3/5 Year degree on the date of application are eligible and candidates who have appeared/appearing for LL.B./B.L. Final year examination are also eligible.
A candidate appearing for LLB/BL degree examinations may take the TSPGLCET in anticipation of results. However he/she must have passed the said course at the time of
counselling.
LL. M. COURSES
The courses offered by concerned law colleges will be notified at the time of Admission
Notification/Counselling, after receiving the official list from universities concerned.

The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25% (i.e. 30 marks out of total
120 marks). There will be no minimum qualifying mark for S.C & S.T candidates for ranking.
• For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, no minimum
qualifying percentage of marks is prescribed.
Merely qualifying in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into LL. M course unless the candidate:
I. Appears for Counselling at the notified Centres.
II. Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned; and
III Satisfies all the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the authority in the Admission/Counselling notification.
TS PGLCET-2021 RESULTS:
a) Evaluation: Every care will be taken to avoid errors in evaluation, checking, scrutiny, tabulation and ranking. Hence, request for re-totalling or revaluation or personal identification of scripts will not be entertained.
b) Ranking: The Candidates will be ranked as per the total marks obtained in the Entrance Test. If there is a tie in total marks, the marks obtained in Part -A of Entrance Test will be considered for awarding the rank. If the tie still persists they may be bracketed together for the purpose of ranking and seniority in age may be considered at the time of admission.
(iv) Rank obtained in TS PGLCET-2021 is valid for admission into LL.M. courses for the academic year 2021-2022 only.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA TO APPEAR FOR TSICET - 2021
a) The candidates should be an Indian National and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in as per G.O. Ms No. 25, dated: 19.3.2004; G.O.Ms.No.108 dated 30-7-2005; G.O.Ms. No.66, dated 15-7-2011; G.O.Ms. No.5, dated 2-8-2014; G.O.Ms. No.7, dated 5-8-2014; G.O.Ms. No.33 dated 31-12-2014 and it amendments and G.O. Ms. No. 22, dated 27.07.2019 of Higher Education Department of Telangana State of Higher Education Department and its amendments.
b) The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the
Universities concerned.
c) The candidates seeking admission in to:
i) Master of Business Administration (MBA): Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree (BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA/BBM/BCA/ BE / B. Tech/ B. Pharmacy/ Any 3 or 4 year Degree except Oriental Languages). Examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved (SC and ST) categories) in the qualifying examination.
ii) Master of Computer Applications (MCA): Should have passed
recognized Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved (SC and ST) categories) in the qualifying examination with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level.
iii) The qualifying Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program/ Open
Distance Learning (ODL) should have recognition by Joint Committee of
UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB as per UGC Regulations of 2013.
d) The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for TSICET-2021
e) Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the
Statutory Bodies.
f) Qualifying marks in TSICET-2021 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates.
